Grandma Joan, Pappa Tony, Aunt Su Su, and Cousin LaToyya saying goodbye as we leave Virginia Beach headed back to WA.

Quan and Gracie playing late night checkers

Mikki and Grandma "G" at my Dad's house in Rockville, VA

Our visit to VA

My crazy brother Chris.

The grandkids at Famous Daves

Mom and Dad at Famous Daves BBQ

Family Visits from VA Beach

We are getting ready to go to Pike's Place Market.

Mike kept it so cold in the suite, Sequan had to wear his sweatshirt to bed. He and Mikala slept on a kingsize pullout in the living room.

The live music in the lobby

Mikala on our balcony at night.

Mike and I enjoying drinks and live music in the lobby of the resort.

This was alittle beautiful mexican girl about 5 yrs old that saw us taking pics and wanted her picture taken too.
This is one of the beatiful dishes from La Ribera. It was the surf and turf on top of mashed potatoes and green beans.
Mikki trying to ignore the peddlers whispering from the Beach to her.

This is me "not drinking" at La Ribera cause they put so much tequila it makes the hair on my arms stand up!! No make up was the regular for me on this trip.

Mike posing for the camera with his new favorite drink the "Paloma"at our favorite restaurant on the resort, La Ribera. This was a steakhouse on the beach. Our favorite waiter worked there. Mike even tipped him when we didn't eat there.

It was a postcard view from our room

This was the inside of our Suite at the Resort. We saw a few small geckos from time to time. They were too fast for you to catch. Mikki tried.

After quadding we took a small tequila tour at the hacienda. Quan is preparing for his first tequila shot. Pedro is in the background pouring everyone a shot. The family next to us was from Gainsville, VA. We had a ball. Unfortunately, Pedro didn't care if you weren't old enough to drink so the two 17 yr olds you see got toasted!

The suave bandito!!

Mikala took a moment in Santa Cruz to try out their playground slide. She found out its not like home!

On Tuesday we rode ATVs thru the jungle, thru rivers and sand and some countryside. This is me and Quan in a little Town called Santa Cruz. Only 150 residents, a small store, and alot of heat. We had to wear bandanas during the ride to keep the dust and bugs out of our noses.

This was on our way to the Resort.

Mikki had to get in on the action too.

The iguana like eating flowers.

Our favorite Iguana chillin by the pool with his mexican beer of choice, Pacifico.

This is alittle blurry cause the guy was doing cool tricks with his laso. It really was amazing.

They even danced while balancing candles on their heads!!!

More dancing and pretty costumes.

The dancers were great. The performed dances and songs from different parts of Mexico and South America.

Mikala posing as usual

The Mariachi Band at the Fiesta

Sequan posing for a picture for his boxing coach.

Mikki enjoying her "authentic" chicken enchilada at the Fiesta. Her tan was looking good!!

These are the desserts they were serving at the Fiesta. Yummy. A piece of walnut pie, a fried banana with lemon cream, and a half eaten pastry of some sort. This was Mike's plate.

Sequan at the Fiesta Sunday night.

Andrea's Italian Restaurant at a Mexican Resort?

Our fearless leader! ha ha

Sequan completely wore out from swimming with his sister all day!

Mikala's first sighting of the iguana swimming.

This was the Momma, she like to stay up in the Palm trees. We were always looking up to make sure she wasn't over top of our heads.

Did I mention their were Iguanas running around as well. This one was our favorite. He was alot bigger in person!

There were three peacocks that walked the grounds. This was the only all white one. This pic was taken in front of the Andrea's Italian Restaurant that was in our resort.

We had our own private beach

The three pools were connected by little rivers.
